About
Deserted Hospitals is dedicated to the documentation of closed, historic, and abandoned hospitals through video and photos. The hospitals include psychiatric hospitals, tuberculosis sanatoriums, state schools, developmental centers, and medical centers. The buildings are prone to demolition, vandalism, and/or fires at any time. Since this is the case, documentation is important if any such occurrence were to take place. Deserted Hospitals began in early 2006 and has since been documenting abandoned hospitals in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic of the United States.
